It’s scary trying to make it on your own in the graphic designer career. Becoming a designer and working from home isn’t for everyone, and work from home jobs require more discipline than regular jobs. In this guide, I’ll talk about how I’ve been able to successfully become a freelance graphic designer since 2007, using Adobe products like Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Muse, and Premiere Pro.

Learn what I’ve done to make it as a freelance graphic designer. What should you do before going solo as a graphic artist? What are the pros and cons of working for yourself? How do you effectively build a client base? Get out there and get it done! You don’t want to work for someone else the rest of your life, do you???

What a great video Cary! Love the concepts and the "behind-the-curtain" views that you talk though! I know for me personally, getting new clients was always the part that I struggled with, that being said, it's been a very long time since I actively searched for new clients, so maybe I should do some more! Keep it up man!
